Shortest FF play ever

Until tonight, the record for shortest Fighting Fantasy playthrough ever was Masks of Mayhem. There is a choice on page 1 that gets you eaten by tentacles right there on the next page. But tonight I have set a new record, and I don’t think this can be beaten.

Spellbreaker – died on page 1.

Spellbreaker starts off with action: fighting a demon as the bad guy makes an escape. The demon is only skill 8, but I rolled a skill 7. Also, for the page 1 demon fight you’re at -1 because of the brimstone stench. So, skill 6 to his 8, my 19 stamina to his 9.

I got in one lucky hit in the first round, then he got 10 in a row after that – knocking me from 19 stamina to 0.
